AShley Jensen wins best female Actor at rts sCOTLAND 2025

Scotland's vibrant television industry took centre stage at a glittering awards ceremony in Glasgow on Friday 06 June, as the Royal Television Society Scotland proudly unveiled the winners of its prestigious 2025 Programme Awards.

Held at Glasgow's iconic Old Fruitmarket, the night saw presenters Shereen Cutkelvin and Sanjeev Kohli hand out 27 awards to deserving recipients. 

Shetland actor Ashley Jensen, was awarded best Actor - Female for her compelling role as DI Calder in Shetland series 9.
